Photographs, correspondence, printed items, illustrations, and other materials related to the football career and later life of Arthur J. "Tommy" Thomas, Winifred's father. Items related to Winifred's academic and social life at LSU are included. Four pieces of academic jewelry from LSU belonged to James Monroe Smith Sr.: a Phi Kappa Phi key (1931), an Omicron Delta Kappa key (1933), a class ring (1937), and a Pan-Hellanic Council key (n.d.) Printed items include LSU ephemera, photocopies of newspaper clippings and scrapbook materials, and an issue (1932) of THE REVEALER, a response to the LSU newspaper, THE REVEILLE.
